Saturday show - Set 1 - 4 of 18
When the Saints Go Marching In
Verse
Sound familiar?
- The setlist lives in a group text, three versions deep.
- Nobody's sure who's singing which song this time.
- The sub shows up without knowing the set or the keys.
- Charts are in five different keys on five different phones.
- Rehearsal runs long and the tricky songs never get worked on.
- You find out who can't make the gig the week of the gig.
BandGigster puts all of it in one place the whole band can open, from the first rehearsal to the last song of the night.
Everything a gigging band needs
One song book for the band
Keys, tempos, lengths, lyrics and chord charts in one place, plus a link to the version you play. Paste a chord sheet and it's tidied for you.
Setlists with who plays what
Every song shows who sings lead, who takes the solo and who's on harmonies, with set lengths that warn you when a set runs long.
A stage player built for gigs
Big lyrics and chords in the gig's key, auto scroll, a count-in, guitar tabs, and it keeps working with no signal.
Band sync
One person leads. Everyone else's screen follows to the next song and sees the same count-in.
Rehearsals that prep the gig
Pick the songs to work on, add notes, see who's coming, and practice each song with a link to the recording.
RSVPs in one tap
Everyone answers for each gig and rehearsal. Players show green, yellow or red right in the lineup, so you build around who's actually there.
Guest access for subs
Subs and guest players see only the gigs you put them on: the setlist, their parts and the stage player. Nothing else.
Song ideas and votes
Members suggest songs, thumbs up the ones they want and talk them over. Winners go straight into the song book.
Phone, iPad or laptop
Nothing to install. Light and dark modes, printable run sheets with just your parts, and a public page for fans.
From group text to great gig in three steps
- 1
Bring your songs
Add your song list, keys and charts, or paste a list of new songs right into a setlist.
- 2
Build the gig
Drag songs into sets, pick who plays what, mark who's expected, and plan the rehearsals.
- 3
Play it
Everyone opens the stage player. The leader moves the band through the set, and the count-in keeps you tight.
Why we built it
We play in a big cover band with a long song list, a rotating cast of singers and players, and subs who join for a gig or two. Group texts and spreadsheets stopped working, so we built the tool we wanted. Now we're opening it up to other bands.
Questions
What does it cost?
It's free during the beta. We'll announce pricing before the beta ends, and beta bands will hear first.
What do I need to run it?
A web browser on any phone, tablet or computer. You can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Does the stage player work without signal?
Yes. Open a gig's setlist once and it's saved on that device, so it still works at venues with bad or no reception.
Our songs are in a spreadsheet. Do we start over?
No. Bring your song list and past gigs, and you can type or paste new songs straight into a setlist.
Where do the lyrics and charts come from?
Your band. Paste in your own lyrics and chord charts, and each member can keep a personal version of a chart too.
Who can see our stuff?
Only your band. Admins decide who's in, subs only see their own gigs, and a gig shows on your public page only if you turn it on.
Get your band on the list
We're letting bands in a few at a time so we can help each one get set up. Tell us a little about yours and we'll be in touch.
